Dearest Daddy Roy,
With love and kindness, you have always been there as a second father to me. The only father figure beside my stepfather uncle Harry. You have always been kind, caring, gentle and loving. Yes, always with a smile. The examples you showed with your family, you also supported us the same way. I remember seeing you and auntie in 2019, and it was a joy. You are now with auntie and I am so missing you both. I pray the reunion is exciting.
I remember how much love you showed for the animals, especially the birds. You had other animals and to this day, I still can’t eat goat meat or mutton, you showed so much care and love. I pray for your siblings, I remembered how kind and supportive they were and my condolences goes out to them.
I am so sorry I’ve gotten sick and not able to be at your home-going in person, but I know the kids are going to do a really lovely job. May your light and auntie’s continue to follow Sis Bernie, Bro Vijay, Miss Ashley, Miss Sydney, Marianna, Bro. Arnold, Diane, Greg, Miss Abby, Paul and his girls. You both left a great legacy.
Daddy Roy...Rest in the wonderful Peace and Grace of God. Enjoy your eternal sunshine with auntie. Your warmth and compassion will be missed, but indeed I will never forget you.
Continual prayer and love for the family.
God Bless Always
Joy and Family

To my cousins,
My prayers are with you all. My kids and I are saddened by uncle Roy’s passing and no amount of words can take the pain of losing a dad.
Uncle Roy was a mentor and inspiration to our lives when growing up. He played the role of a dad to me and our other cousins and he will be missed by the entire family. My mom Kathleen spoke to him on his last visit. She’d also gotten the chance to talk with him recently. Me on the other hand, didn’t get to say "Hi" or even my goodbye but I pray that he sleeps peacefully. He will be remembered.
Losing a parent is the hardest. I can only imagine the sorrow and pain the family is facing.
Our deepest thoughts and prayers
-Yasmin, Annie, Angela, Kurt and families

One of his proudest moments... Novemebr 2002... I am not lying, the pix says it all...
Dad was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on his face and a helping hand for anyone in need. He was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of so many people with his warmth and compassion.
I will always remember Dad for his unwavering love and support for his family. He was a pillar of strength, a steady presence and quick to offer a helping hand or any tools you need.. he had it. Even advice how to fix stuff (yes stuff as he knew it all).
He had a passion for animals especially birds and he shared that passion with everyone he met. Remember the fights with mom about the mess his birds made or the noise early in the morning that disturbed her sleep. He loved talking about his birds ..don’t get him started.
While Dad’s passing leaves a great void in our lives, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and reunited with long lost love who have gone before him. We will cherish the memories we have of him and honor his legacy by living our lives with the same kindness, generosity, and love that he exemplified.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

My dearly beloved brother, you will truly be missed. You were so much family oriented and you loved your family immensely. Your departure from this life is heartbreaking but we take solitude in the fact that you are in a better place and we will meet again. Thank you for your love and kindness. You will forever live on in our hearts and we will always love you and cherish the wonderful memories. Sleep on my dear brother.
