Arjune Sukhu, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 9th, 2024 in Brooklyn, New York. He was born in Better Hope, Guyana on January 8th, 1955 and leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. Arjune was the epitome of a man who wore many hats - he was the jack of all trades. Whether it was fixing things around the house or providing for his loved ones with unwavering dedication and hard work, Arjune's resourcefulness knew no bounds. His commitment to his family knew no limits; he put them first in everything he did. A man of few words but immense depth of character, Arjune had an unassuming nature that endeared him to all who knew him. He never complained about anything; instead choosing to approach life with quiet contentment and grace. His humility shone through every action and interaction. Above all else, Arjune cherished his family above everything else in this world. His wife Hemoutie Sukhu held a special place in his heart as they built their lives together filled with love and understanding. Their children Anthony Sukhu, Gina Sukhu, Christine Sukhu, Andy Sukhu along with his grandchildren Lanna Sukhu and Anthony Jaxson Sukhu were the pride and joy of Arjune's life; he poured endless love into nurturing them into the wonderful individuals they are today. He was an amazing son to his parents Maharania and Rampersaud Sukhu; a loving and kind brother to his 7 sisters Sylvie, Ivy, Jane, Joyce, Minta, Goldie, Irene, and his one brother Son. With the memories they have it will be cherish forever in their hearts. As a father and grandfather figure who led by example rather than words alone - Arjune instilled values such as hard work ethic and selflessness within each member of his family. His impact will be felt for generations to come as these lessons continue to shape future generations. The loss of such an extraordinary man has left an irreplaceable void not only within his immediate family but also among those fortunate enough to have known him throughout his lifetime. The memories created alongside him will forever remain treasured keepsakes that serve as testaments to the beautiful soul that once graced this earth.
