I was the Care Manager for Michael for the past six years and he was always so happy and friendly. To know him was to love him. He made friends everywhere he went and always had a smile for everyone. I looked forward to visiting Michael at least once a month and I knew that he was living a wonderful life at Heartshare. He had a bossy and helpful personality and always made sure that everything was done his way. Michael impacted my life and it was truly a pleasure to have known him. I know that he is at peace now with all of the loved ones who preceded him in passing. He was loved very much and will be missed and remembered dearly.

Mike it was a true honor being your MSC. I will truly miss you and the calls I use to receive from the providers due to your antics.

Michael, I’ve known you since you was a little child. I’ll always remember your smile and especially, your adoration for your big sister; Ellen…As the years carried us through life you grew up to be an amazing young man. You touched the life’s of many through your warmth and gentle heart. Many friends and family grew with you in your journey through life, we love you and will miss you dearly…
I will never forget you, my dear brother-in law, and the precious times you visited your sister and I in Florida. The caring and gentle way you held your nephews (Corey and Thomas) in your arms…I will never forget your eyes and that big smile.
Rest well my dear friend, for you are finally home at peace with your mom (Judy) and beloved family and friends who carried on before us…Till we meet again.

I remember the many visits, the harmonica’s and the wrestling videos you would share with us during our visits!! In particular I remember playing with you and you broke the ceiling fan in our home in counterpoint when you threw a ball!! We laughed but you pointed at Corey and I got in trouble!!!! We love and miss you uncle Michael for ever and always!!

I remember when I was about 13 years old, uncle Michael, Thomas and I were playing with a tennis ball in the house here in Florida. While uncle Michael had the ball, Thomas pointed up to the ceiling. Uncle Michael looked up then tossed the ball into the ceiling fan, which subsequently caused a fan blade to break off and come crashing down. When mom and dad came rushing over to see what happened, uncle Michael looked at them, then pointed to ME!! What the heck, unc?! It was very funny!
