Obituary of Dieudonne Dieudonné Limontas

It is with great pain that we announce the sad news of the *death of the widow Dieudonne Dieudonné Limontas*, which occurred in *Brooklyn, New York, New York, USA, at the age of 100 years, 4 months and 12 days. Dieudonne Limontas, née Dieudonné (which in French translates to God gives, God gave), was born on September 29, 1923 in Port-au-Prince, Ayiti. She had two sisters, and was raised by her stepmother and father. She grew up to be a nurse and a teacher, and for years she traveled all over to teach in rural areas and nurse the elderly and sick who were less fortunate. She was a profound believer in holistic and naturopathic medicine (a belief system and tradition that she passed to her children, and grand children). She taught her 4 sons values deeply rooted in human rights, self respect, human dignity, and serving others. She was known for being stern, honest, caring, generous, self sufficient, giving, frugal, and independent. She was a matriarch and pillar in her family. She helped people tirelessly and joyfully.
