Janice LaCroix Obituary
Janice J. LaCroix was born on July 19, 1948 to the parentage of Lillian Harkis. On March 18, 2023 her her two siblings, Carol Gladmen and Harold Gladmen Jr, and her two kids, Sharlene Allen and Larry Allen, met her at the gates of Heaven.
Janice attended Erasmus Hall High School and Brooklyn College and later worked for Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. She often displayed her love for others as she cared for patients. Janice served faithfully as a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, she was a member of the Lions Club. She dedicated her entire life to her family and friends, she was strong, smart funny, helpful, outgoing and determined.
There are no words that can express what a wonderful woman she was. Once she put her mind to something, she’d accomplish it. She loved bowling, dancing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Her legacy continues through her loving daughter, Darlene Thomas, ten grandchildren: Jackie, Terrance, Leroy, Troy, Kenyetta, Maurice, Kenneth, Sierra, Syanna and Honist, seven great grandchildren: Malik, Tariq, Teranicna, Timyra, Akira, Jaylen and Kalani and one great-great grandchild, Lucky.
Janice also leaves behind her soulmate Donnell Washington and her longtime loving friends.
Janice has touched so many hearts, she is a legend that will forever live through her family and friends.
