Beloved mother to Michael and Yolanda, grandmother to Gabi, Diana, Jackie, and Thomas, and great-
grandmother to Christina, Gemma, Robbie, and Anna. Marie was the middle of three sisters. Her
younger sister was Yolanda (deceased) and her older sister is Antonina who she is survived by. Marie
was an elementary school teacher in Brooklyn for 36 years. She was loved by her students and
colleagues alike. Marie touched the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She will
be deeply missed by her family and friends.
