My deepest condolences to the family, Samira. I will never forget all the times Carmen received us at your house and cooked for us and made us laugh. All the times I cried because I didn't want to go back home because I felt in family and so loved in your house. Carmen was such a good person and so joyful. I wish my grandma would have stayed in New York so we could have had many more years together but even so I will always cherish those years and her friendship that felt more like family than friendship. Thank you, Thank you

My condolences to all who loved her. My heart is broken and I will forever miss my beloved godmother. She was truly one of a kind- funny, stubborn, and great to talk to. Her love of music & casinos is legendary. She had the most amazing luck and would always share her winnings. She was so generous. We will miss her so much and we will miss her amazing cooking!
