On April 24,2026 we lost a dear friend and husband William Kalbfell Jr. William Kalbfell Jr., known to many as “Billy Blah,” was the son of William and Ethel Kalbfell. He was raised in Brooklyn’s Midwood neighborhood and later earned his GED after attending Edward R. Murrow High School. In time, Billy met the love of his life, Dora, and the two were married on October 11, 1991, sharing many devoted years together.

Billy was admired for his calm, easygoing nature and genuine humility. He treated everyone he met with kindness and respect, leaving a lasting impression on those around him. A dedicated New York sports fan, he especially loved the Giants. Music was another passion, and his taste spanned alternative, classic rock, heavy metal, and anything that made his hips sway.

He is survived by his wife, Dora, and countless friends who cherished him. Billy will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
