It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Milagros Rodriguez DeJesus, age 86, who resided in Brooklyn, NY, on April 24, 2026. Milagros was born on October 18, 1939 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to Fidel Rodriguez and Isaias DeJesus. After High School, she migrated to New York City where she was a factory worker. Later, she started a family and devoted her life to being a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her siblings Jose Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Lillian Rodriguez-Sandes, Roberto Rodriguez and Paolis Rodriguez as well as her first born son, Franklin Correa.

She leaves behind three daughters, Ivelisse Correa-Richardson, Katherine Correa and Mary Garica, four granddaughters, Elysia Hernandez-Garcia, Zoe Richardson, Eliana Morillo-Garcia and Evelyse Morillo-Garica, two sons-in-laws, Derek Richardson and Eriners Morillo-Guzman.

Funeral Services will be held Friday May 1, 2026 from 3pm-8pm at Blair-Mazzarella Funeral Home
