Obituary of Rita Titus

Passing of Rita Louise Messier Rita was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on January 16, 1934 to Joseph Messier and Angelique Lajoie. She was the youngest of 11 children. Rita moved to Bay Ridge at the age of 18 and lived there until her passing. She married Victor "Mel" Titus at the age of 25 and were the proud owners of Henry's Tavern in Bay Ridge. A member of Our Lady of Angels Parish, an animal lover, and a great dancer with her brother Roy. Rita was predeceased by her husband, Victor "Mel" Titus. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews from all over the country. She will be greatly missed.
