Nohemi Benavides Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nohemi Benavides, who left us on March 6, 2025, in Brooklyn, NY. She was born on October 2, 1966, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and lived a life full of love, laughter, and generosity.

Nohemi was the life of the party, with a laugh so joyful you could hear it from a mile away. Her warmth and kindness were felt by everyone who knew her. She had a deep love for working with children and found joy in bringing people together through her passion for planning events and celebrations. Nohemi was always willing to lend a helping hand, making a difference in the lives of so many.

She is survived by her loving parents, Bella and Luis Schnabel; her cherished siblings, Linda, Ruth, Jenny, Luis, and Carlos; her husband, Herberth Benavides; and her beloved children, Brian and Brittney. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Though she is no longer with us, Nohemi’s spirit will continue to shine in the joy, kindness, and love she shared with the world. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
